Just let my 6 year old son finish building the set and it is pretty sweet. The palace is a nice "play" area for the mini figures. The details in the set are amazing and as always, Lego places a few functional areas like Jabba's trap door and the opening gate, shooting missiles, etc. This set comes with lots of mini-figures. The only downside is that it's a bit on the expensive side. Typically, Legos seem to cost about ten cents a brick. This set only has about 700 pieces but was priced at $119. That's almost double the cost per brick. Overall another great addition to the Star Wars collection, but maybe a bit on the expensive side.

Lego Jabba's Palace 9516 is a must have set for every Star Wars fan. Amazon's price of 119.99 with FREE Super saver shipping is one of the better deals you will find for this set. Jabba's Palace is 717 pieces and includes 10 minifigures counting Han in carbonite. The build is great for children or adults. The last Jabba's Palace was released in 2003 and the new Jabba's Palace is a vast improvement. Jabba's Palace is an excellent set to display or to play with. Leia as Boushh, Salacious Crumb, and Oola make their first minifigure appearance while Jabba the Hutt, Gamorrean Guard, and Bib Fortuna are new molds. Jabba the Hutt is brilliant and quite simply one of the best Star Wars Lego minifgures ever produced. The attention to detail including the sliding trap door and ways for the upcoming Rancor pit to connect are nice touches. Lego delivers with Jabba's Palace!

This Jabba's palace is amazing! It is very detailed and is really worth the money in my opinion! First of all Jabba is just WAY WAY better then the old one, this set is very amazing! It's number one right next to the malevolence! Recommended
