My compliments go to the people at Lego who designed the instructions. They are very clear and don't add too many parts in a single step (which is a huge benefit when building something this complex!). I only have one small complaint: the dark grey transmission gears with the little teeth on the axle hole were not rendered in the instructions (Book 1, Page 20, Step 4); the instructions show a gear with no little teeth around the axle hole - I spent 20 minutes looking for a gear that didn't exist! LOL I flipped forward to see the other gears and they all were rendered without the little teeth, so I figured Lego's instruction making program couldn't render them that small. Now the good stuff. This model is built WELL! There is bracing, there is cross bracing, and there is bracing for the bracing! About the Set itself: Not since the Ferrari Enzo 8653 and Ferrari Fiorano 8145 has there been a set as detailed and sophisticated as this, the Supercar 8070. Unlike the previous two, the Supercar is branded as a Technic, not a Ferrari, and this one is motorized. The motor does not move the car, instead it moves the front hood, right and left doors (independently), and extends and retracts the rear spoiler. All this is done with a pretty neat shift knob in the passenger compartment. If you missed your chance to get the previous sets, the Supercar not only continues, but improves on the previous sets. About the Amazon listing: Just to reaffirm the previous reviews, buying the Supercar is a rip off from Amazon, even if you consider all of the benefits of buying from Amazon. If you buy from Lego.com, you will have to pay for shipping and taxes. The actual list price is $120. The use of a list price of $300 is completely misleading. Rather than the claimed discount of >%40. There is an actual mark up of >$40. I have told AMAZON about this repeatedly but the false list price persists on their website. Disappointing. Just buy it from LEGO.

This is a $120 set available directly from Lego and authorised Lego dealers. Don't encourage these thieves who are just trying to exploit ill-informed customers. I am amazed Amazon still allows these crooks to exploit their web-site.
It is easy to cure; make the sellers display the list price and let the customer choose. But the sellers would not agree to this would they. This clearly shows Amazon is only concerned about short term profits and does not care about its customers.
