A replica of the real engine that operated on the railroads of America, this Maersk train features exceptional detailing and functions, such as opening driver's cab, removable side panel revealing a detailed, 16-cylinder engine, and authentic Maersk branding. The model also includes 2 wagons and 3 containers with opening doors (1 with refrigeration detailing). Introduced in April of 2011, the Maersk Container train continues the tradition begun with the Emerald Night (10194) of a highly detailed and realistic set designed with the train enthusiast in mind and customizable with Power Function accessories (see below). It is BREATHTAKING! It is perfect in every way! The detail to the set is unbelievable. The complete train is positively HUGE! (A whopping 9 3/4 inches longer than the Emerald night!) The Maersk blue might be confused with the regular light blue bricks, but it`s a specialty Maersk color! I like the blue container truck.(Which is much bigger than it looks.) The container cars have special train body elements not seen since the 2009 Lego city set "Helicopter transporter". The full set is OVERFLOWING with special/rare elements! Probably about 1/3 of the set is hard-to-find bricks and colors! And by the way, don`t worry about the stickers and instruction book getting all crumply and bent, because now the Lego group put those in a special bag with a peice of cardboard which works great!
