LEGO Minotaurus - Build And Play
The LEGO Minotaurus introduces a unique new concept that lets players build everything from the game board to the mini figure and a customizable dice.It is an innovative new game that will provide hours of family entertainment as you build and play with it.If your child is a fan of Lego, then the new LEGO Minotaurus is an interesting new product from the company that for the first time introduces a build and play board game where you have to put together the board and the figures before playing. While earlier LEGO board games only involved building mini figures, this one goes a step further. In addition, for the first time, LEGO introduces an innovative dice which a player can personalize by changing the patterns and colors on the six sides. This dice can also be used for other games. The first step in putting together the board game is building the Minotaur figure from which LEGO Minotaurus gets its name. There are ten pieces that have to be joined to make this mythical beast complete with details such as the bull-like head, arms, legs and horns.Next, the actual board of the LEGO Minotaurus game has to be built up using the instructions to create a three dimensional maze with a stone wall border and twisting hedges that lead to the center of the labyrinth where the temple of the Minotaur stands. The entrances to the maze are at the four corner of the board.Once the LEGO Minotaurus board and figures are built up, you are ready to play.Every player has to select a color from the hero figures and roll the dice to move, starting with the youngest player and taking turns in a clockwise direction. The aim of the game is to move through the maze with the roll of the dice until you reach the section at the center that matches the color of your hero figure. The six sides of the dice have the numbers 3, 4, 5 and 6 as well as a gray tile and a black tile. When a person rolls the dice, he can move forward as many paces as the number he rolls. If he rolls the gray tile, then he can move a piece of the hedge wall to make it more difficult for his opponent to get to the center. If he rolls the black tile, then he can move the Minotaur by eight steps to land on an opponent's hero figure and send him back to the starting block.
